In 1975, the Addison Business Association was founded to improve communication between the Town of Addison business community and the Addison city government and City Council. Many professionals work in Addison and live outside of the town, and therefore do not have the opportunity to vote on city matters that affect them and their businesses. The ABA represents the interest of non-voting members of the Addison community who contribute to the town's prosperity and productivity. Effectively representing the diverse business community and its concerns in Addison since 1975, the ABA's goal is to continue to serve the business community and improve Addison and its business climate by bringing business, community and government together.
The Addison Business Association serves its membership by being a liaison between the Town of Addison, local businesses and the Addison community.
